All Saints, Day of the Dead

On Saturday November 1 at 5:00 pm we begin All Saints weekend at Incarnation Chapel with a special All Saints/All Souls event celebrating the Mexican and Latin American festival of the Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos. This day highlights our connection with all those who have gone before us. The Eucharist will include time to remember each person we have loved and lost. Everyone is encouraged to bring a photo or memento to place on the altar of remembrance, called an ofrenda. A festive meal follows including some traditional Day of the Dead delicacies.
