On July 4-8, Canon Kate and Deacon Denise accompanied 19 diocesan youth and chaperones to the Episcopal Youth Event (EYE), held at the University of Maryland, in College Park. The Cathedral’s own Chrissy Alleyne served with the EYE planning team!
EYE is a gathering of Episcopalians ages 15-19 from around the world. Held every three years (and not since 2017 due to Covid) it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for youth in the the church to assemble, learn, celebrate and worship together. Our delegation came home inspired, and looks forward to sharing our experiences at this year’s diocesan convention.
