Engage in prayer and silent contemplation at the Altar of Repose after the Maundy Thursday liturgy.
We are encouraging all who are able to stay behind after the liturgy concludes and keep watch for a few minutes. During this time you may wish to pray, meditate, or simply to be in conversation with God. A short resource sheet will also be available for you.
The cathedral will remain open for approximately an hour after the service, and we encourage you to sign up for one (or as many) 15 minute increments of watch keeping as you would like here: Gethsemane Watch
