Mothering Sunday is an Anglican tradition. For centuries, the tradition of visiting your "mother" church (the main church or cathedral of your area) would happen on the Fourth Sunday in Lent. This became an opportunity for family reunions, when children returned home.
Invite your family, join your cathedral family, or make new friends at this new cathedral tradition. Pancakes, sausage and bacon, pastries, coffee, and more will be served. You can purchase tickets after any Sunday Mass, at Sunday School, or by visiting www.MotheringSunday.Eventbrite.com.
