Meditation & Justice Series at Adelphi

The new Meditation & Justice series at Adelphi University's Interfaith Center offers campus-wide public events with conversations about building lives of meaning and communities of belonging and justice.

The next public event on November 20 is titled "Spiritual Responses to the World's Hungers: Spiritual, Bodily, Communal, an Interfaith Dialogue" and will take place in Adelphi's Nexus Building, Room 239. Speakers include yoga teacher, author, and co-founder of the Urban Yogis project Eddie Stern and social justice movement lawyer, Catholic nun, and tribal citizen of the Ani-Yun-Wiya United Cherokee nation Sr. Alison McCrary, SFCC.

The event is co-sponsored and supported by the cathedral's Center for Spiritual Imagination.
