Celebration of the Rev. Absalom Jones

The Black Clergy Caucus invites you to a Thanksgiving Liturgy commemorating the ministry and witness of Absalom Jones, who, in 1802, became the first person of African descent ordained in the Episcopal Church. Absalom Jones was an abolitionist, community organizer, prolific writer and priest in God's on, holy, catholic and apostolic church.
