Normally, the election of Cathedral Council members would take place at the Annual Meeting. This year, ballots will be mailed to those who are eligible to vote. (Cathedral members who are eligible to vote are 18 years or older, a communicant in good standing, and known to the treasurer.) The mailing will include a stamped return envelope along with short biographies for each person standing for election. Ballots must be postmarked by Sunday, May 23. You are also welcome to drop your ballots off at the annual meeting.
The Cathedral Council is elected by the congregation and as leaders they play an important role in the life of the congregation. Each year, three members are elected to one four-year term. The Cathedral Council is called to empower, support, and encourage the various ministries and programs of our congregation. Together with the dean, vicar, clergy and professional staff, they help shape the focus of our common life. Questions? Reach out to one of our wardens: Chris Scott or Tamara Harris.
