Cathedral for Pets: St. Francis Day Pet Food Drive to Support Last Hope

On Sunday, October 3, we will be collecting non-perishable, unopened dog and cat food to benefit Last Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. Last Hope works throughout Long Island to rescue dogs and cats and place them in responsible, loving homes; reduce animal overpopulation through spay and neuter programs; offer low-cost vaccination programs; and help pet owners in financial hardship meet their pets' veterinary needs.

Cans and bags of dog and cat food can be brought to the cathedral at the 4pm Blessing of the Animals or any of the other Sunday services on October 3. Your gifts will help feed the animals in Last Hope’s shelter as well as other cats and dogs in need. If you have food you’d like to donate but cannot bring it on October 3, contact Rebecca Maines or Kyle Sabo via Realm to make alternative arrangements.
