Social Justice Ministry: Race and Faith

The Social Justice Ministry is pleased to announce the upcoming program being brought to the Cathedral beginning this Epiphany. Please join us and our guest speaker, The Rev. Dr. Craig D. Townsend, Historian in Residence for Racial Justice, The Episcopal Diocese of Long Island.

The program will take place on 5 Wednesday evenings for the following adult education event: Race and Faith. Our faith in an incarnate God of love gives us both opportunity and responsibility to revisit our nation and church’s history, and think together about how we can work for repentance, reconciliation, and a more just future. The dates for this event are: January 12, 19, 26 and February 9 and 23 from 7:30 - 8:30. Register here.

Participants are asked to commit to attend all five sessions and complete the require reading before each session. Any questions, please email SocialJustice@incarnationgc.org
