As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

1 Peter 4:10

Your support makes the cathedral a place of inspiration, spiritual nourishment, and loving service not only for our congregation, but for so many others. We are all saints of God today. By our compassion and perseverance, in our humility and generosity, let us build together upon the strong foundation of this glorious house of prayer for Long Island.

How can I see how much I have contributed this year?

You will receive a statement in the mail towards the end of the year. If you would like an update before then, contact the church office.

How do I decide how much to pledge?

Some people like to "tithe" by giving the traditional 10% of their income. Others feel that they can afford more, and some cannot afford so much. If you would like pastoral guidance in making this decision, you can set up an appointment with a member of the clergy.

Why should I pledge instead of just leaving money in the collection plate?

  • Pledging is a commitment to give a designated amount in the coming year. This gives us the ability to budget appropriately for the coming year.
