The Rite 13/J2A Youth of the Cathedral of the Incarnation sponsored a "Laps For Love" event. To date the youth have raised $1,185.
This event began on the steps of the Cathedral on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010. The youth and their mentors walked/ran/jogged around the Diocese of Long Island campus to raise money for Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) to help aid the children of Haiti who have been affected by the catastrophic earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010.
ERD is working with its partners in affected areas to provide technical aid; meet immediate needs such as food, water, shelter and medical care; and coordinate a long-term response. The agency is committed to continuing its support throughout the recovery and rehabilitation process.
